— You saw him runaway after deciding not to plead guilty to embezzlement during last night’s Brothers & Sisters but Balthazar Getty will return as Tommy in the season finale. Sources tell E!’s Watch with Kristin that Getty will also reprise his role for a few episodes next season. Sarah Jane Morris who plays Tommy’s wife Julia will also appear in a few episodes next season and will be given a suitable sendoff. Getty’s already lined up a guest starring gig on a later episode of this season’s Medium. Brothers & Sisters airs Sundays at 10pm on ABC/Global.
— Shannen Doherty will be back on 90210 as Brenda; however it won’t be until the season finale. Hmmm I bet Adrianna will be ready to deliver her baby by then…so Brenda can’t have kids and Adrianna probably won’t want hers, it’s quite easy to figure where this is heading. The show returns from hiatus on March 31st while Tori Spelling’s two-episode return as Donna Martin-Silver begins on April 14th (the first ep will be directed by Brandon Walsh himself…Jason Priestley). 90210 airs Tuesdays at 9pm on The CW/Global.
— So there’s no “official” confirmation on Edie’s death on Desperate Housewives but it is widely speculated since Nicolette Sheridan will be leaving the series. Next week’s episode will have Dave taking Katherine and Mike camping so that he can exact his revenge (Mike/Susan’s car accident caused the deaths of Dave’s daughter and wife) while Edie will finally put the pieces together. Dave will have to go to great lengths to keep Edie quiet by the end of the episode. The following week, the four housewives will take a road trip to see Edie’s son Travers (now played by Stephen Lunsford), who is now 15 and in boarding school. They will have to tell him what happened to Edie. Casting wise, Richard Burgi is back as Karl on March 22nd. The show will be on a month-long break and will return on April 19th where Jesse Metcalf will reprise his role as John. Desperate Housewives airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC/CTV.
— When No Doubt perform on a May episode of Gossip Girl, they’ll be doing it in an 80s flashback that is setting off the Lily spin-off. Brittany Snow has been tapped to play Lily. The band might not be playing themselves…they’ll be playing an up-and-coming 80s band who will perform a cover of Adam and the Ants’ “Stand and Deliver”. Gossip Girl airs Sundays at 8pm on ‘A’, Mondays at 8pm on The CW and Thursdays at 7pm on MuchMusic.
— Marc and Amanda will team up to give Betty a sexy makeover on this week’s Ugly Betty while Hilda has seconds thoughts about dating the Karate Kid…I mean Archie. This will be the last episode before the hiatus. That hiatus will only last about 6 weeks, Betty will return May 7th for the final 4 episodes of the season. The two-hour season finale will air on May 21st. Ugly Betty airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC/Citytv.
