— Sick of reruns this holiday week? The Real World: DC premieres tonight on MTV at 10pm.
— The Jersey Shore crew each got a makeover courtesy of Life & Style this past week when the magazine invited them to a “star-studded event” at Greenhouse, an NYC club with an “upscale dress policy.” This wasn’t just any makeover, Life & Style made them over in the image of some real celebrities. Check out Sammi as Angelina Jolie, Ronnie as Brad Pitt, J-Woww as Megan Fox, Mike as Jake Gylenhaal, Snooki as Kim Kardashian, Vinny as Justin Timberlake and Pauly D as Taylor Lautner.
— Some crazy news…I hope everyone is familiar with Canadian actress Carly Pope (she played Sam on Popular) and was recently on 24. Anyway, she and her brother were carjacked yesterday! A thief hijacked her car and then crashed it into a building in Vancouver. Carly was admitted to a hospital, no word yet on the extent of her injuries.
— For some crazy reason, former NBA star Charles Barkley will be hosting Saturday Night Live when it returns on January 9th while Alicia Keys will be the musical guest. In order to make up for this, Sigourney Weaver will host and The Ting Tings will perform the following week.
— CBC is bringing back the Royal Canadian Air Farce tomorrow night for New Year’s Eve. Last year’s New Year’s special was expected to be the final one after CBC pulled the plug after 16 seasons. The new special will air at 8pm and repeat at midnight.
— The coupling up of Russell Brand and Katy Perry was probably the best thing to come out of this years MTV VMAs. And look, their vacations are actually normal. Here are the happy couple at the Taj Mahal in Agra, India:
