— Vampire Diaries hottie Nina Dobrev told MTV recently that her character will be getting into an “extremely big car accident, she hits someone and you’re left hanging. You don’t know what’s going to happen, so we’re going to pick up right from there and you’re going to see what happened and what happened after that.” Vampire Diaries returns on Jan. 21st.
— Nicole Richie will be a guest judge on the seventh season premiere of Project Runway, which will premiere in the States on Jan. 14th.
— NBC is planning to order a 21st season of Law & Order. The fourth-place network has also beefed up its pilot development: 10 dramas and eight half-hour comedies which include a remake of Rockford Files, J.J. Abrams’ Undercovers and Rex Is Not Your Lawyer starring David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development). You can insert your own Leno joke here…I’m on holiday.
— MTV Canada’s daily version of The After Show returns this Monday, Jan. 4th at 7:30pm. Cannot wait to see Dan and Jessi take on Jersey Shore.

— ABC is bringing back its Sunday night hits tonight: When Kitty’s lymphoma reaches a critical stage, the Walker’s have to look for a bone marrow match on Brothers & Sisters. Over on Desperate Housewives, the ladies contemplate how their lives would have turned out if they had made a different choices.
