The TV Watercooler

Inappropriate Woo’ing with Saved by the Bell, plus a preview of tonight’s New Girl and The L.A. Complex

— Sitcom audiences were extremely vocal back in the 90s. Here’s a mashup of some intense Saved by the Bell moments with some “woo’ing,” there’s also an awesome bonus scene at the end where TGIF and TNBC worlds collide!

— The Walking Dead writers also don’t know what created the walkers.

The Secret Circle has cast Joe Lando as Cassie’s dad. Lando previously appeared on One Life to Live and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

— The crap that replaced One Life to Live has already flopped.

Sean Hayes will appear on Parks and Recreation this spring.

Michelle Williams has seriously brightened up my Tuesday with this GQ cover.

— AND THIS JUST IN: Cougar Town will return on Feb. 14th at 8:30 p.m.

— My picks for tonight:

On 90210 (8 p.m. on The CW): Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) embarrasses herself in front of her boss Rachel (Michelle Hurd) in an attempt to get over her break-up with Austin (Justin Deeley). Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) are booked to perform at a club, where they realize that working together might be a bad idea.

On New Girl (9 p.m. on Fox and Citytv): When Schmidt’s (Max Greenfield) plans for his 29th birthday fall apart, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) takes charge and elists the help of her school’s party hungry vice-principal (Rachel Harris). Meanwhile, Nick (Jake M. Johnson) begrudgingly has his first date at Schmidt’s party with a beautiful lawyer (Lizzy Caplan) who has a secret. The gang also wonders who placed a $50 bill in the douche bag jar.

On The L.A. Complex (9 p.m. on MuchMusic): Abby (Cassie Steele) is given the chance to make some big cash as long as she’s willing to “play the part.” Raquel (Jewel Staite) decides she’s not going to wait by the phone any longer and starts pushing to get a movie made for her to play the lead. Alicia’s (Chelan Simmons) not having any luck with her dancing auditions and takes a different approach by attending a party with a D-list actor. After presenting an impressive demo at the studio, Tariq (Benjamin Charles Watson) is given the chance to work with an infamous rapper, “The” Kaldrick King (Andra Fuller).

Over in late night: Ricky Gervais and Kathleen Edwards are on Letterman; Sami Worthington and Sherri Shepherd are on Leno; Colin Firth is on Ferguson; Kyra Sedgwick is on Fallon; Fred Armisen is on Conan. For a complete list of late night listings, click here.
