— NBC has set the final episode of Jay Leno‘s The Tonight Show (for real this time, hopefully) for February 6 while Jimmy Fallon takes over beginning February 24 — the same night Seth Meyers takes over Late Night.
— Mischa Barton told Us Weekly at a reunion for The O.C. “doesn’t feel right.” You know what? They killed your character off, so it doesn’t have to be right for you. Sadness: she also says she hasn’t kept in touch with her former cast mates.
— Jane By Design‘s Matthew Atkinson will play a drummer in a multi-season arc of Parenthood named Zach. He’ll be in the band fronted by Tyson Ritter (of All American Rejects fame) who bonds with Amber (Mae Whitman).
— Greg Berlanti is developing what is described as a futuristic Prison Break for NBC.
— Freddie Prinze Jr. will guest star on Witches of East End.
— Happy Endings alum Casey Wilson has inked a comedy series deal with ABC along with Burning Love‘s June Diane Raphael.
— Juliette Lewis will co-star alongside Matt Dillon in M. Night Shyamalan‘s “event” Fox series Wayward Pine (based on the novel).
— Look for The Office‘s Angela Kinsey to appear on the second episode of New Girl‘s upcoming season. She’ll play a rival teacher for Jess (Zooey Deschanel) named Rose.
— Vin Diesel may join Guardians of the Galaxy as Groot…which might not be so bad for two reasons: he’s only got one line (“I am Groot”) and he sorta looks like him anyway.
— After toying with our childhood memories in Toy Story 3, Woody and the gang will be back for a Halloween special on ABC called Toy Story of Terror, airing Oct. 16.
— Breaking Bad‘s return on Sunday night doubled last year’s premiere.
