BBC America aired a special teaser for the third season of Orphan Black tonight during the season finale of Doctor Who in the U.S. Check it out below:

The teaser features pink cells set to Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me.”

Production on the third season of the worldwide hit began last month in Toronto and is set to premiere this spring on Space in Canada and BBC America in the U.S. Production will continue until next March with Tatiana Maslany taking on the “Leda” clones (Sarah, Cosima, Alison, Helena and co) while Ari Millen has been bumped up to a series regular this upcoming season as the mystery surrounding “Castor” clones is revealed. We’ll see Millen return as Mark – the Prolethean cult follower – and Rudy, a prisoner of war.

Also returning for season three are Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Mrs. S), Dylan Bruce (Paul), Kristian Bruun (Donnie), Evelyne Brochu (Delphine), Zoe De Grand Maison (Gracie), Skyler Wexler (Kira) and Kevin Hanchard (Art). Fans can also expect a return from Michiel Huisman as Cal – Sarah’s ex and Kira’s father.

The official season three synopysis from BBC America:

Season three plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Just when they thought they knew their enemies and allies, season three reveals our clones are more vulnerable than ever before. Highly trained, identical make-soldiers raise more questions than answers. Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist?

Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena are stronger together than they are part, but this season will put that bond to the test. Will they forge towards their truth, or fall at the feet of those who seek to control them?

If you didn’t catch it the first time around or you want to re-watch from the beginning, both seasons are now available on Blu-ray, DVD and iTunes.  American fans will be in for a treat on November 28th as the station will air fan-favourite episodes from the past two seasons from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. ET, in the “Orphan Black Friday” programming block.
