ABC has released promotional images from General Hospital’s upcoming 52nd anniversary episode airing on Wednesday, April 1.
The episode will have Jason Thompson (Patrick), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) and Ryan Carnes (Lucas) take on the roles of original characters Steve Hardy (who was played by John Beradino), Jessie Brewer (played by Emily McLaughlin) and Phil Brewer (played by Roy Thinnes). In an interview with TV Insider, it was revealed that the actors carefully studied the first episode (which aired April 1, 1963) to see the original actors in these characters while the production team recreated the original nurses’ station.
The flashback episode will factor in heavily with the big Luke (Anthony Geary) reveal his big secret / why he developed another personality. Head on over to TV Line to check out their exclusive promo.
