— ABC has announced that Anthony Geary’s finale airdate as Luke Spencer will be on Monday, July 27th.

General Hospital has been in the midst of the Luke Spencer farewell storyline, which recently brought back Genie Francis (who will stick around into at least the fall). Other returning stars Emma Samms and Nathan Parsons will wrap as Holly and Ethan this week while Jonathan Jackson should be sticking around as Lucky until next week, but not before dropping a bombshell: Baby Jake is alive!

TV Insider reports that Tamara Braun will be returning to Days of our Lives as Ava Vitali, the mob princess she played in 2009. Braun began taping on June 17 and will first air on December 9. In 2011, Braun took over the role of Taylor Walker from her former General Hospital co-star Natalia Livingston. Braun’s first daytime role was as GH’s Carly from 2001 until 2004. She later appeared as Reese on All My Children from 2008 until 2009. GH brought back Braun as well as Sarah Brown for the 2014 “Carlypalooza” which saw three Carlys (including Laura Wright) in scenes with Maurice Benard’s Sonny.

DAYS fans will remember that Ava came between Patch (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and was responsible for the plane crash that caused the death of grandpa Shawn Brady.

— ICYMI: Martha Madison will be reprising the role of Belle Black on Days of our Lives beginning November 27th. Looks like ‘Last Blast’ DAYS fans will get to see Shawn & Belle again! (Jason Cook is also returning as Shawn).

— Looks like Queens of Drama will be returning for a second season. A casting call has been placed for two name soap actresses to join the POP reality series. So far no Canadian broadcaster has been announced for its first season.
