— ABC has increased Quantico’s episode order by six to 19… Which is considered a “full season” order. ABC also says that number could still increase. The Priyanka Chopra fronted series airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on CTV in Canada.
— Meanwhile, ABC has also given a full season order to sophomore series Fresh Off the Boat (bringing it’s total to 22).
— Kal Penn has joined the third season of Hulu’s Deadbeat, which streams on CraveTV in Canada.
— Harry Connick Jr. has lined up his post-American Idol gig. NBCUniversal will distribute a daytime talk show that will air on Fox-owned stations across the U.S.
— Syfy has cancelled Dominion after two season. The series was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa and aired on Showcase in Canada.
— Denzel Washington will direct this season’s ninth episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
— Ugh, Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live on November 7. Plus side? Sia will serve as musical guest.
— HBO has ordered a new pilot from Lena Dunham about second-wave feminism in the 1960s.
— Gabrielle Union, who recently reunited with her Bring It On co-stars for Entertainment Weekly reunion special, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she and Jimmy played high school principals who parody Rihanna, The Weeknd and Walk the Moon. Check out the clip below.
