Calgary’s Raul Manriquez was the latest houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother Canada house. Before he headed off to the jury house to reunite with Mitch (who he got out last week), we spoke with Raul to see if he had any regrets from evicting Mitch or how he spoke down and called houseguests “floaters.” We also see if he’s still the third wheel to Jared and Kelsey, even in the jury house.

Do you regret how things went down with Mitch? Do you feel like you may have overreacted when Kelsey told you about Mitch’s alliance with Loveita?

I probably overreacted a little bit. But it was hard for me because we had such a great connection. We were so open about our friendship and the game we were playing. Him hiding things from me, from a game perspective, was such a big deal.

Looking back, did you do the right thing with getting Mitch out? Couldn’t you have worked with him?

I probably for sure could have worked with him if he stayed in the house. I feel like for the fans watching, it was a crazy [move] and one that was unexpected [to get my friend out]. I believe that we would have worked together great and could have gone to the end together but I felt like it was something that was needed [getting him out] after what he did.

You trust him less, even now after being a third wheel to Jared and Kelsey?

Yes, as a game perspective, I do.

Why hasn’t anyone tried to get out the brothers?

That’s weird. I protected the brothers so much. Jared wants to get them out. But people kept coming and attacking us so the brothers became a low priority.

How do you think is the strongest player in the game?

Physical, it would be Jared. He’s good at the endurance. As far as game strategy and being under the radar, it would be Tim for sure.

What is your goal in the jury house? Is there a way you’d like to influence the other jury members?

I would love to influence them so they could see how Jared and Kelsey play the game. If they end up in the end, I want them to see how hard they have worked and how they never turned their back on each other. That’s what I would do.

Was it wise to call out fellow house members as floaters? You were trying to win votes to stay but you spoke down to them?

I think they were offended but I just wanted to scare them a little bit. So they had fear and that they knew what the other people in the house saw them as. They knew they were floaters but nobody ever came and told them that. I’m the person who likes to create a little drama. I honestly don’t feel like I will regret that.
