Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) tells Caroline (Peggy McCay) and Julie how Deimos poisoned her. Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) tells Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that she wants to move out, to which Chad (Billy Flynn) offers a solution. JJ (Casey Moss) is invited to a Hernandez family lunch. Theresa (Jen Lilley) grows suspicious of Summer (Marie Wilson) and decides to investigate her. Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and Summer pretend to be involved to cover up Summer’s latest con job.
Next week: Hope is shocked and confused by Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) return on Monday (May 9). Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Fynn’s (Alexander Bruszt) dinner is interrupted after she is called to the ER, which is filled with patients suffering from a flu-like virus on Tuesday (May 10). At the hospital, the virus situation is becoming more dire as the first death occurs, affecting many of the beloved Salemites on Wednesday (May 11).
Despite feelings the effects of the flu, Kayla continues to work on Thursday (May 12). Chad is devastated after Abigail (Kate Mansi) tells him she doesn’t want him and Thomas to visit her anymore on Friday (May 13). Meanwhile, Aiden pays Andre (Thaao Penghlis) a visit soon after his release.

— Chrishell Stause has joined the cast of The Young and the Restless. The former All My Children (Amanda) and Days of our Lives (Jordan) alum will recur as “wild child” Bethany Bryant beginning Tuesday, May 24 (Canadian airdate), per TV Line.
