— Will The Young and the Restless be recasting the role of Adam Newman now that NBC has picked up This Is Us which stars Justin Hartley (check out a trailer here)? No word yet from Hartley or CBS about the impending exit. Hartley assumed the role of the Newman scion in 2014 following the highly buzzed about exit of Michael Muhney, who took over the role from Chris Engen in 2009.
Could the role be recast or will producers give Adam a rest or bring back Muhney to the role (even though the character’s face changed)?
