Global has set its summer schedule with returning favourites — including Big Brother and Private Eyes — as well as a slate of new reality and dramas!

Private Eyes, last summer’s #1 new series, returns for its second season beginning May 25 at 8 p.m. New cast editions this year include One Life to Live’s Bree Williamson, Degrassi’s Sharon Lewis, Second Jen’s Samantha Wan and Reign’s Mark Ghanimé.

Emerald City, which has already been cancelled by NBC, begins airing on Global on May 22 (at 8 p.m.).  The Night Shift is back for its fourth season beginning June 22 at 10 p.m.

The Toronto-shot new CBS drama Salvation will air on Global beginning July 12 (at 9 p.m.). The series focuses on tech superstar Darius (Big Little LiesSantiago Cabrera) and MIT grad student Liam (Charlie Rowe) as they realize that an asteroid is just six months from colliding with earth. Canadian Jennifer Finnigan (Student Bodies, The Bold and the Beautiful, Tyrant) will star as Grace, the Pentagon official who Darius and Liam bring their discovery to.

Paul Patton will star in Somewhere Between. This series, which will premiere on July 24 at 10 p.m., is about a superstar news reporter who knows her 8-year-old daughter is going to be murdered and must figure out the who, when and why.

Summer reality staple Big Brother will premiere its 19th season Wednesday, June 28 at 8 p.m. The fifth season of the Canadian edition concludes its run this Thursday (May 18).

Other reality fare on Global include The Wall (hosted by Chris Hardwick), which premiered on May 8, and Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge, which will premiere its second season on June 12 at 10 p.m.

Global will broadcast the Indspire Awards on July 1 (at 7 p.m.), as well as the 2017 edition of the Teen Choice Awards (date TBA).

Coming off the success on a ratings-hit season, Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update will premiere on Global on Thursday, August 10 at 8 p.m.
