— The Nurses’ Ball kicks off this week on General Hospital! There will be a “high-stakes” mystery according to co-head writer Jean Passanante, revolving around “the chimera.” “Jake (Hudson West) becomes a factor in the Nurses’ Ball itself. It all seems pretty innocent — and then it doesn’t. And the thing we are all anticipating is the different factions all realizing that they are following the same thread; Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna (Finola Hughes), Jason (Billy Miller) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Howarth) and Jake, and even Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) kind of fall into the chimera’s meaning and purpose. They put together the mystery of the chimera,” says the scribe in the latest Soap Opera Digest.

So, GH fans, do you think Passanante and co-head writer Shelly Altman can successfully craft an umbrella story and mystery this time around? Or will it be another dud?
