Orphan Black returns for its fifth and final season, beginning this Saturday, June 10 at 10 p.m. ET on Space.

In the first of ten new episodes, a wounded Sarah is desperate to rescue Cosima on the strange island and return home to Kira and S., who have been taken. Meanwhile, Rachel finds herself in charge of Neolution, as the right-hand of its 170-year-old founder, P.T. Westmorland.

Like with previous seasons, the adventure that awaits us this season is crowded in secrecy, but here are few things that we can tell you… Cosima and Delphine will reunite. Okay, so they did reunite at the end of the fourth season, but fans will be treated to a proper reunion, as Cosima would be fully lucid and not hypothermic.

Rachel may get her wish and have Kira studied — as much as Sarah may be against it. Hopefully, we’ll find out more about Kira’s ability to self-heal, which hasn’t really been developed much since she came out unharmed following an accident earlier on in the series. And if Kira’s special, what about Helena’s babies? Would they have the same self-healing abilities as well?

The one critique from the fourth season finale was the lack of screen time for Alison and Donnie. Their scenes in the tent had to be cut for time, but it looks like we’ll be getting classic Hendrix hijinks in episode three of season five as Alison and Donnie are back in the suburbs.

We’re also going to visit the past… Some Clone Club stuff before it became the club we all know and love. During her appearance on Live with Kelly & Ryan earlier this week, Tatiana Maslany mentioned that they filmed scenes with actors from the first season during the last day of filming… Could we see more of Dylan Bruce’s Paul? Or Sarah’s former love and Kira’s father, Cal (Michael Huisman)?

What about the rest of the clones? If we’re getting flashbacks or actors from the first season, will we see more stuff with Beth? Or some of the other clones out there… M.K.’s still out there, so is fan-favourite Krystal!

Returning for the final season alongside Maslany are Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Kevin Hanchard (Art), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Siobhan), Évelyne Brochu (Delphine), Ari Millen (Ira & the rest of the Castor clones), Kristian Bruun (Donnie), Josh Vokey (Scott) and James Frain (Ferdinand).

You can catch up with Orphan Black on Space.ca and the Space GO app.
