Time ran out for Big Brother contestant Cody Nickson as he was evicted from the house on Thursday night. Head of Household Paul succeeded in backdooring Cody after originally put up Alex and Josh (Paul on the veto and took Josh off). There was a third houseguest up for nomination this week as Ramses was cursed into putting himself up on the block (where he managed to score three eviction votes).

We caught up with Cody following his eviction to chat about Josh’s “Victim Noises,” his relationship with Jessica and what he’ll do if he gets to reclaim a spot inside the house on Friday’s (airs at 8 p.m.) battle to return to the game!

Looking back at how things have turned out, would you have still put Christmas up? Was there anyone else you could have put up to salvage your relationship with your former alliance?

Totally because if I hadn’t put Christmas up, I wouldn’t have seen who was disloyal to me and who’s loyal to me. The craziest thing is that Jess and I got so close after the whole Christmas thing — even though Jess disagreed with my move, she stayed loyal to me and seeing that is humbling. I have so much respect for this girl.

I suppose that I could have put up Jason just to appease the group that I was kind of with. The thing is, if you do the policy of accommodation through appeasement, all you’re doing then is allowing the people that are supposedly supposed to stand side by side with you through this in your group, you’re just giving them the power. The fact that I didn’t give them the power to make my decision for me, all that happened is that it showed how disloyal they would be if I didn’t do what they said.

Things got very heated between yourself and Josh. Based on his outburst with Megan and Jillian, he’s appears to have a short fuse. Could you eleborate on what exactly were his “Victim Noises”? How much longer do you think he’ll last this season?

I can’t make a victim noise. Every time you watch you’ll there’s just victim noises coming out of this guy’s mouth. Josh will be a perpetual pawn this season. The dude is a man child… I can’t stand the guy. They keep him around because he’s sort of a swing vote. But I really hope, because they’re using him, they keep him around for jury and then they’re stuck in the jury house with this idiot. That would be a prize for me.

You had some time to talk to Jessica before leaving. You asked her to be your girlfriend outside of the house, confirming that it wasn’t really a showmance! What else did you say to her? Was it any of it strategy?

None of it was strategy. I dig the chick. I’m all about having something with her outside the house. We’d been shunned the last two weeks essentially, and it was just me and her talking with each other for 16 hours a day, every day. There’s this strange dependency thing going on, I’ve never been co-dependent on anyone in my entire life… but everything in the house we did together.

You’ve got the opportunity to battle back into the house next week. If you go back in, what will be your strategy? How would you go about to win over those houseguests that turned on you?

My strategy is to listen to Jess and listen to myself — i’m just gonna go all out. Obviously, I’ll do everything in my power to win that first HOH competition. I would rather see them grovel back up to me and try to cut some deals with them.

You didn’t say goodbye to any of the houseguests (other than Jessica) on your way out. Knowing what you do now about your chance to go back in, do you regret this? Do you feel that you were justified not saying anything to them even though you understood and respected Paul’s game move?

No, I had to withhold sticking up my middle finger and flipping them all off. Yeah, I’m not friends with these people. Legit, the only people that I genuinely like that I’ll probably talk to after the show is Alex, maybe Jason and Kevin. And obviously Jess. Other than that, I have no time for these people. If they wanted to get close to me, they had their chance.
