Schitt’s Creek is set to premiere its fourth season beginning January 9 at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC. In the U.S., Schitt’s Creek will premiere its fourth season on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. on Pop.

Season four of Schitt’s Creek begins with the Roses making the most of life in Schitt’s Creek, and — Moira’s (Catherine O’Hara) constant talk of escaping aside — are finally starting to feel at home in the town. Johnny (Eugene Levy) is busy running the motel with Stevie (Emily Hampshire) as his partner. Business is booming, but it’s a challenge for him to balance work and family while dealing with Roland’s (Chris Elliot) antics. Moira is carrying out her duties with Town Council and the Jazzagals, and is also looking for new ways to utilize her talents, whether it’s through a theatrical performance, or by helping Alexis (Annie Murphy) navigate event planning.

David (Dan Levy) is managing his store and attempting to maintain a brand new relationship (with Noah Reid’s Patrick), but between struggling to find the time for romance, and overcoming the anxieties of his dating past, this is proving to be a challenge. Meanwhile, Alexis is putting all of her energy into school and her career but is finding it difficult to focus when she still has lingering feelings for her ex-fiancé, Ted (Dustin Milligan).

In the season premiere, “Dead Guy in Room 4,” Moira fears that she is responsible for the death of a motel guest while David and Patrick decide to make their budding romance official.

Schitt’s Creek airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC. Episodes will also be made available on CBC.ca/Watch, the CBC App (which is also on Apple TV) & On Demand.
