M3 to premiere British series The Smoke, Chris Colfer is NOT leaving Glee and more

— Good on M3 for picking up some shows from the UK – they’ll debut The Smoke, a miniseries from Sky 1 about a team of London firefighters. Premiering Thursday, July 17 at 10 p.m. ET, look for Battlestar Galactica’s Jamie Bamber and Broadchurch’s Jodie Whittaker to star.

Arrow star Stephen Amell took to his Facebook page to shoot down rumours that he’d be appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

— Meanwhile, Prison Break’s Peter Stormare will appear as the new Count in the Arrow season premiere. The previous version of the Count (the baddie who dispensed the vertigo drug) was played by Seth Gabel and was killed off last season. The third season of Arrow premieres on Wednesday, October 8 at 8 p.m. on CTV and The CW.

Kyle Massey, the brother on That’s So Raven will play the role of a neglected/abused kid on Gotham. Massey joins the recently announced Carol Kane who will guest star as The Penguin’s mother.

— Classic Batman fans take note: Warner Bros. will release Batman: The Complete Television Series on Blu-ray this November.

— Someone decided to troll whatever remaining Glee fans are out there by hacking into Chris Colfer’s account and stating that he was let go from the cast due to personal issues. 20th Century Fox assured press and fans that Colfer is still signed on for the Fox series’ sixth and final season.

— Russia doesn’t want House of Cards filming at the U.N. Security Council chamber in season three.
