Billy Miller has reportedly signed a new contract at General Hospital, which means that we’re definitely heading towards a “Tale of Two Jason’s” storyline now that Steve Burton is coming back.

— No luck for GH fans hoping for Tyler Christopher to return as Nikolas as the actor is rumoured to have joined DAYS!

Chris Van Etten has been upped to co-head writer at General Hospital, alongside Shelly Altman. Jean Passanante retired from the ABC soap. Van Etten joined the GH writing team in 2012 and worked alongside Ron Carlivati (who’s not at DAYS) and was first hired as an assistant over at One Life to Live in 2001 where he worked his way through the ranks.

General Hospital: Night Shift season 2 head writer Sri Rao has scored a high profile project at ABC where he’ll write and produce an untitled Bollywood comedy with Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) which is inspired by the real-life story of Bollywood queen Madhuri Dixit.

Ashley Jones will return to GH as Parker, Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) former professor-turned-lover. This would have been welcome news a year ago when fans were asking for it… At this rate, hopefully, they’ll bring back Carly Shroeder as Serena next year. Could GH finally be doing this story now that Y&R is teasing a romance between Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks)?

Ryan Peavey (Nathan) and Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie, GH; ex-Theresa, DAYS) will co-star in a new Hallmark movie Harvest Love.
