— Ian Buchanan will be returning to The Bold and the Beautiful as psychiatrist James Warwick! The actor began taping at the CBS soap this past Monday and will first air on August 16. — Great news for longtime General Hospital fans: Carly Schroeder will return as Serena Baldwin — Scott (Kin Shriner) and Lucy’s (Lynn Herring) daughter. Schroeder previously played Serena on GH spin-off Port Charles from 1997-2003. Serena returns to Port Charles as GH airs a special tribute to Peter Hansen, who passed away earlier this year. Hansen played Lee Baldwin (Scott’s father) on and off from 1965 until 2004. No word yet on how long the actress or Serena will be back on GH, but fans have been waiting years for this return. “I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful return. Kin and I still have the same mannerisms! He is like my second father,” Schroeder told Soap Opera Digest. Herring adds: “It was just amazing to have Carly back with us. It’s something Kin and I had wanted for a long time and I know the fans did, too. I’m excited for them to see it.”
