Space will give Canadian viewers a special preview of Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams this November and December, before the 10-episode anthology series has its official premiere in January 2018.

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is a science fiction series that is based on the works of Philip K. Dick. The series premiere on Channel 4 in the UK in September and will feature appearances from Richard Madden, Steve Buscemi, Michael Socha, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Rachelle Lefevre, Sam Witwer and Bryan Cranston.

The first episode to be screened on Space will be “Human Is” on Sunday, November 12 at 9 p.m., following the fall finale of Star Trek: Discovery. The episode will star Bryan Cranston and tells the story of a woman suffering in a loveless marriage and suddenly finds that the psyche of her emotionally abusive husband has been replaced by something alien… yet surprisingly kind. This will explore Philip K. Dick’s core concern — what truly defines us as human?

Airing on Monday, December 25 at 10 p.m. ET, “Crazy Diamond” has an average man (played by Steve Buscemi) being approached by a gorgeous synthetic woman with an illegal plan that could change his life completely. When the smitten man decides to help, his world begins to crumble.

The full 10-episodes of Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams will begin airing in its permanent timeslot, Sundays at 9 p.m. ET, beginning January 7, 2018. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. in 2018.
